Master Kim was honored with awards from the Ministry of Patriots and Veteran Affairs of ROK for honoring one of our students’ grandfather, Mr Edward James Luebkert. Master Kim was able to present Mr. Luebkert’s family with a medal from the Korean Government for his services in the Military. Master Kim also received 2 certificates from the Korean Woman Veterans Association of Washington and Greaten Korea Foundation. The certificates were in recognition for his participation in the 2018 Memorial Day Parade in Dc and in the 2018 Veterans Day Parade in New York City. We will soon hold a ceremony to award the other volunteers from our dojang whom also participated in these parades.
