Master Bongseok Kim will be attending our belt testing as a special examiner this Friday. Master Bongseok Kim retired from the US Army after 30 years of service and continues to serve our country at the Pentagon.
He was an athlete at the US Army’s World Class Athlete Program (WCAP) and he was Medalist of the Military World Championship. After retiring as a competitor, he became a Head Coach of the US All Army and US Armed Forces Taekwondo Teams, and coached numerous medalists at the National and World Championship. He served as the President of the Taekwondo Committee for the Conseil International du Sport Militaire (CISM is the second-largest multi-sport organization in the world after the International Olympic Committee), for two four-year terms. He is currently serving a Board member at USA Taekwondo, National Governing Body for Taekwondo under the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee, and for the Official Taekwondo Hall of Fame
