Master Y.J. Kim, president of the Washington DC. Taekwondo Association led the martial arts demo teams at the 2021 KORUS Festival held this past Saturday and Sunday in Tysons Corner. Saturday’s performance was by Tiger Dan Performance Team and Sunday’s performance was by MBA Performance Team.
The KORUS Festival is the largest cultural festival in East Coast with more than 50,000 attendees each day and celebrates the diversity of Korean American heritage. The heritage is celebrated through many different outdoor exhibits, K-Pop, talent shows, foods and open market vendors, Taekwondo demonstrations, as well as live national and international performance. It is a great experience, and we appreciate being able to come together and celebrate the Korean-American culture.
