Wreaths Across America Day is Saturday, December 16, 2023.
Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, America’s service members are honored and remembered with wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as at more than 3,400 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea, and abroad.
You have an opportunity to Volunteer with Military Women’s Memorial members to support Wreaths Across America Day at Arlington National Cemetery from 9am – 3pm.
This Wreaths Across America Day, join fellow Military Women’s Memorial members and friends in laying remembrance wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes that have served and defended our nation. The day will end with a wreath laying Ceremony on the Military Women’s Memorial Plaza. The MWM team will also be volunteering on the MWM plaza, serving hot chocolate and hot cider to all Wreaths Across America Day participants.
MWM Volunteers will receive a light breakfast, snacks, hot beverages, MWM Volunteer Shirts and exclusive access to the Memorial (and bathrooms) throughout the event, as we will be closed to the public.
IMPORTANT: Volunteers who intend to lay wreaths at the Military Women’s Memorial must register with BOTH Wreaths Across America (WAA) AND at the Military Women’s Memorial.
Any MKMAC students or family members interested in volunteering, see Master Kim or Ms.Carrie.
Thank you.
