TEMPORARY COVID-19 PREVENTING RULES & PROCEDURES FOR CLASSES
June 9, 2020
We are so Excited to announce we will be Re-Opening the Dojang for in person classes on Monday, June 15th. We will continue to hold zoom classes for the time being. Our Zoom schedule will run from 1:30-5:00, and our Dojang schedule will run from 5:00-7:00. All classes will be 30-minute sessions. This way all our families can feel comfortable and safe attending classes either continuing through zoom or coming to the dojang. We will be discontinuing some classes on zoom to accommodate the schedule. The first discontinued classes will be 1. Korean Language, 2. TKD Game, 3. Kids Book Story Time, and 4. Sparring Class. We apologize for any disappointment, but it is what is best for accommodating both zoom and dojang classes. For the dojang classes Masks will be optional for our students and our instructors. Governor Northam’s Mask Mandate states masks are optional when working out. We have taken all measures to properly disinfect the dojang before your return. We have purchased 7 air purifiers for the building to prevent the spread of any possible air borne germs. We will be emailing out a Disclosure that must be signed by all students, parents, and/or guardians to return to in-person classes. Upon return We will require all students to wear TKD shoes. Please let us know if you still need to order shoes. We will require everyone entering the building to sanitize their shoes on our disinfectant mat. We will also be taking temperatures at the door as a precaution. Any one with a fever of 100.4 will be asked to leave and may return when they are fever free for 24 hrs. We ask that you limit the number of family members entering the dojang when coming for classes. If possible, we appreciate family members waiting in the car for students. We completely understand for our younger students a parent must accompany them in the building.
