We are very excited that we have been invited again to participate in the New York City Veterans Day Parade!! This year is the 100yr Anniversary and we are Honored to be marching in our Nations largest National Parade in support of our veterans and those currently serving our country. The parade is produced by the United War Veterans Council, is the largest Veterans Day event in the United States of America. Our group is the 1st Martial Artists to participate in this parade. Honoring, Thanking, and Supporting our Service Men and Women is important to us. We would love for our members to come and march with us as we show our respect. Anyone interested please see Master Kim or Ms.Carrie for information. We have a signup sheet ready and waiting for you!! The purpose of the NYC Veterans Day Parade is to honor our veterans, raise awareness of those who serve them, and to salute members of our currently serving military. It is a non-partisan or non-political event.
The parade will occur on Monday, November 11 (Veterans Day), rain or shine. This year, the Parade will start at 12:00 Noon (at the conclusion of the Opening Ceremony, see below) and concludes around 3:30pm. It will be immediately preceded by a youth tribute march that will start at 11:05 AM.
The parade goes north on Fifth Avenue, from 26th to 46th Street. The route is 1.2 miles, and takes approximately 30 ~ 35 minutes.
